The House & Buildings at Hampden

Historic character with modern elegance.

The Great Hall

At the heart of the house is The Great Hall - a grand, versatile space perfect for civil ceremonies, formal dining, or large receptions. Its striking features and sense of occasion make it ideal for celebrations and corporate gatherings alike.

Large historic castle with battlements and decorative statues on the roof, surrounded by a well-maintained lawn and landscaped garden with bushes and benches, under a partly cloudy sky.

Hill House Barn

A beautifully restored barn just steps from the main house, Hill House brings intimate countryside charm to your event. It’s licensed for civil ceremonies and perfect for relaxed receptions or creative business retreats.

A wedding ceremony taking place in a bright, minimalist room with white walls and wooden beams. The bride and groom stand at the altar facing an officiant, surrounded by seated guests. The altar has large floral arrangements and greenery, with wood logs stacked beneath. Visitors are dressed in formal attire, some with hats. The room has windows, sconces, and a high, angled ceiling.

A Home Full of Character

With elegant rooms, hidden nooks, and centuries of architectural detail, Hampden House tells a story in every corner. Whether you’re getting ready for your wedding, hosting a private dinner, or setting the scene for a film shoot, the house adapts to your vision - always with exclusive use and complete privacy.
